Fragile X Conference 2019: Videos and Feedback

Updated: Oct 4, 2019

Thank you to all of you who joined us for our conference on 7th September at the University of Birmingham Medical School! We are so grateful to our fantastic speakers who addressed some key topics, including: adulthood, research into gene editing, Fragile X-Associated Tremor/Ataxia Syndrome (FXTAS), emotional outbursts and anxiety.

However, if you weren't able to join us- don't worry! We are really pleased to be able to share recordings of these talks with you on our website and on our YouTube Channel.

Feedback from the event

  • All of our attendees said that the event was good (65% very good)

  • 96% learned something new that they would be able to put into practice

We also had some great suggestions for topics to address at future conferences which we will be feeding into our future planning. We are seeking your views on the format of our events, as well as your opinions on charging for events in our membership survey. Please do take 10 minutes to share your views so we can make sure we are providing the best possible service to our community, with the resources that we have.

To keep up to date with our future events, keep an eye on our email newsletter, website and Facebook page!

Finally, we are grateful to Liz, Mark, Shawn and to all those who volunteered or enabled us to be able to use this fantastic venue. Thanks to the team, too, for organising a great event!
