We are pleased to share this lay summary from Nathasha’ s dissertation research, which explores how adults with learning disabilities experience hearing aids and auditory rehabilitation.
Using the voices and perspectives of adults with learning disabilities, this research highlights what works well, what can be challenging, and what professionals need to consider when supporting people to access and use hearing support. The findings help build a clearer understanding of how hearing services can be more inclusive, person centred, and responsive to individual needs.
