James and Corina from North Lanarkshire have kindly shared the wonderful achievements of their son Fraser, aged 31, whose love of music continues to grow and inspire those around him.
Over the festive period, Fraser successfully organised and performed a Christmas concert for friends and family. Playing the guitar, he entertained his audience with confidence and enthusiasm, creating a memorable and joyful occasion that everyone involved will treasure.
Fraser has Fragile X Syndrome and began music lessons around 2019 with a tutor from Glasgow, initially learning to play the keyboard.
Since then, he has continued to build his musical skills and now also enjoys playing the guitar. Music has been an important and enjoyable part of Fraser’s life for many years.
This Christmas concert was not Fraser’s first performance. He has regularly sung and strummed for his family over the years, sharing his music in relaxed and familiar settings. One such moment from summer 2025 is also captured in the photos shared by his family, showing the consistency of his passion and progress.

Fraser’s dedication, confidence, and enjoyment of music shine through in every performance. His achievements are a powerful reminder of the importance of encouragement, opportunity, and belief in a person’s potential.
A huge congratulations to Fraser on his fantastic musical journey so far, and a heartfelt thank you to James and Corina for sharing both their photos and Fraser’s story with our community. We are delighted to celebrate these special memories with them.
