We are writing to give an update in relation to some of the recent chances to our staff team. You may have seen that we recently advertised for a new Managing Director, given that our current CEO (Becky Hardiman) was preparing for a move to South Africa. We are grateful to all those who responded to the advert. However, unfortunately, after interviewing our lead candidates we were not able to appoint for this post.
In the meantime, our current CEO’s plans to move to abroad have sadly fallen through, meaning that she will be remaining in the UK. This means that Becky will be staying with the Society until at least the end of October, with options moving forward being discussed during the meeting of our Board of Directors in early October. We will keep you informed about next steps through our website and newsletter.
In addition, you will have seen that Noel, our Administrative Coordinator, has moved to pastures new after 18 months with the Society. We are very grateful for all he has done for the Society. You can read a lovely piece that he wrote, here. We hope to be introducing the new member of the team shortly.
