Cassie has recently contacted us about a book that she has written about her experiences of being a parent to a daughter with Fragile X Syndrome and living with Fragile X Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (FXPOI), as a carrier of Fragile X herself:
"The book is about my sadness and dismay to my surprise and exhilaration and that miracles do happen, it about my fight and sheer determination. To any woman who feels all is lost to always believe and never give up. When times seem dark and bleak there is always light at the end of the tunnel and that Fragile X isn’t the end, I have been given a beautiful gift my little fraggle and in fact it’s only the beginning."
